Britney angry over honeymoon photos

NEW YORK (AP) - Britney Spears has issued a statement lashing out at Us Weekly for publishing photos of her honeymoon.


BRITNEY says she's disturbed that the magazine has printed what it calls her "private honeymoon album." She says she and her husband chose a resort where they were promised absolute privacy.


Staff members took photos of them, which BRITNEY and her husband allowed when they were assured they were being taken for private use in a scrapbook they were given as a souvenir.


BRITNEY says other magazines, including The Star, contacted them when presented with the photos and agreed not to publish them. BRITNEY thanks them for respecting her privacy.
