Jennifer Lopez is reportedly planning to give fans around the world a taste of her live performances with husband Marc Anthony -- by going on tour with the salsa singer.

Lopez and Anthony, who exchanged nuptials last June, performed together for the first time on Sunday, when they sang a Spanish-language duet at the Grammys, and now sources say they plan to hit the road together.

Curvaceous beauty Lopez is already set to accompany her husband on a brief tour of Spain at the end of the month, if she is feeling better, and now Anthony is reportedly trying to persuade her to join him on a more extensive tour later in the year.

A source tells magazine Us Weekly, "He wants to do it, but she has been trying to see if it is the right thing.

"Jen's people have advised her not to because it's bad for her career. She's too mainstream to tour with him. He needs her, but she doesn't need him."

Fashion designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana have confirmed rumors that their 19-year romance is over.

The style gurus will continue to manage Dolce E Gabbana, the fashion house they started together in 1985, but they are now living apart in the same Milan apartment block in northern Italy.

Dolce, whose celeb clients include Kylie Minogue, Madonna and Whitney Houston, says, "On a professional level we are still together. We work together wonderfully well, we have a very strong understanding.

"We have a very strong love which ties us to each other."

Unfortunately, they've instead honed in on the putrid stench of a rotting celebrity relationship bonfire, and they're having plenty of fun stoking the flames.

The first relationship carcass to be ceremoniously burnt is that of Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, who, if Woman's Weekly is to be believed, are definitely breaking up. And they've got the photos to prove it.

In the world of the gossip mags, a lunch date with a stranger is proof of a lengthy, steamy affair and that's exactly what Brad Pitt has been doing with a mysterious brunette, speculates Woman's Weekly.

Despite the photos showing Brad treating the "sexy dark-haired mystery woman" more like a sister than a lover over coffee and ice cream, WW calls the encounter an "intimate date". Sorry, but we're going to need more proof than that before the relationship undertaker is called in.

The mags are also keeping themselves busy by preparing several new relationships for burial, and first up on the slab is the slow-motion train crash that is the Britney Spears and Kevin Federline marriage.

Woman's Day says Britney is only hanging on to Kev because she's too embarassed to end another relationship following her five hour Las Vegas fiasco. Be brave, Britney, be brave.

Kev, on the other hand, has done what any no-name idiot would do if he scored one of the richest and most famous women on the planet: He stole Britney's credit card and shouted five of his friends to a week in Vegas, spending most of the time in strip clubs and making his wife pay for it. Good on ya, mate.

The mags also have the zip half-way up on the body bags of Jude Law and Sienna Miller, Jessica Simpson and Nick Lachey, and Nicole Kidman and Steve Bing. That bonfire should be burning well into the night.

Also hitting the gossip headlines this week are:

~ New Zealand's greatest claim to an actual celebrity, Nicky "The Westy" Watson, has had a makeover. Sure, it's not a Michael Jackson-style skin-bleach and triple nose-job combo, but her new "rock chick" revamp is a definite image change.

Nicky has scored herself a rockstar boyfriend (Shelton Woolright from nu-metal act Blindspott) and is taking over the airwaves with a night shift on The Rock radio station. Eric Watson must be horrified.

~ Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz are being forced to marry in Las Vegas because of Timberlake's overbearing mummy, reports Woman's Day. Justin's mum has been angry ever since Timberlake and Britney broke up and seems determined to ruin her son's love life as revenge.

Perhaps, as a good luck omen, the couple will choose the same chapel as Britney did for her ill-fated Vegas wedding.

Finally, quote of the week goes to rap star Snoop Dogg, who has succeeded in cutting back his pot smoking to a mere two ounces per day: "I don't walk around gangsta all day. No. That's only when it's called for."

But his choice of producer has me wondering if he's taking it seriously. Star Magazine is reporting that KEVIN has recruited Michael Bolton to produce his debut album! Britney is Kevin's manager, because she knows a thing or two about the music biz ya know? A source says, "Brit wants Kevin to show the world that he can earn his own money." Ok, what does Michael Bolton know about rap, let alone (modern) R&B? Unless Kevin's gonna remake sappy love songs he'd better find somebody more "hip." On the morning of Friday, Feb. 11 -- Jennifer Aniston's 36th birthday -- Brad Pitt hovered around the Beverly Hills mansion he still lives in with his estranged wife. He was busy overseeing workers and delivery men as they prepared the grounds for a romantic birthday bash that was to follow the next night.

That Saturday evening, the champagne flowed, breathtaking neon lights of blue and green lit up the backyard trees while guests gathered under white canopies (making good use of portable heaters in the cool night breeze). Frank Sinatra classics wafted through the air as Pitt and Aniston -- along with a starstudded group of 50 friends and family -- celebrated her birthday happily together, little more than one month after their Jan. 7 breakup (see below for all the details).

The atmosphere between the couple was markedly different, however, in the days before Jen's party, a source says, when Aniston sadly but firmly gave her husband a quiet ultimatum: Take me back now, or let me go for good... and file for divorce!

TIME TO CHOOSE

Though a rep for Aniston denies she has given Pitt an ultimatum, a friend of Aniston says, "Jen wants to know where she stands with Brad. If it's really over, she needs to hear it in his words once and for all."

Since the couple's separation, Jen has buried herself in work (she's filming the movie Friends with Money), relied on the comfort of friends like Courteney Cox and Lisa Kudrow and, in recent weeks, made clear that she'd consider taking her husband back.

In fact, the two appeared chummy over dinner in late January at L.A.'s L'Orangerie restaurant, and tongues have been wagging that a future reconciliation could be in the works. But now it seems Jen isn't willing to wait. Says her friend, "Basically, Jen doesn't want to get hurt anymore."

DEMANDS TO HER MAN

According to the friend, those same protective impulses led Jen to demand that if Brad, 41, isn't going to take her back, it's time for him to set her free so she can move on with her healing. After making this demand just prior to her birthday, the friend says she expected an immediate answer -- and closure.

Instead, Brad hemmed and hawed. Jen took his waffling in stride -- and everyone around her was pleasantly surprised! "The old Jen would have needed a full accounting of Brad's emotional commitment to her," says the friend. "This time she just said 'okay' and let it go."

An aspiring actress is hitting out over what she claims to be a "fabricated" magazine article romantically linking her with Brad Pitt.

In a supposedly exclusive interview, April Florio, 22, was quoted as saying Brad, 41, took her on several dates after meeting her in Greece during last summer's filming for Oceans 12.

Flame haired Florio was said to have told how Brad -- who was still with Jennifer Aniston at the time -- even tried to kiss her! The mag printed bizarre photos of the pair supposedly walking together around Europe -- in which Brad was apparently wearing a wig -- as evidence of their so-called "connection".

But don't believe the hype, for as Florio tells Star in a statement: "The direct quotes that are supposedly from me in the magazine article are totally fabricated. That is NOT me in the photographs of a woman with Brad Pitt in Greece in 2004. And I'm not even sure it's Brad Pitt, either. I met Brad Pitt only once, very briefly, at a party. Would he remember me? Probably not."

Pitt's lawyer also confirms to Star that Brad has never been to Greece. "Brad has never been in Greece, and is not the person in those photographs in Greece. Brad does not know April Florio. He has never had dinner with her. He is not acquainted with her. Could he possibly have met her at some time? Maybe, because he meets so many people, but he does not ever recall meeting her. And he has certainly never had dinner and drinks with her. We don't really know who is responsible for these stupid, absolutely untrue, fabricated stories. For now, Brad is exploring all his legal options."

Britney Spears Upset About Unauthorized Honeymoon Photos

Pop star Britney Spears expressed her anger at 'Us' magazine after it published unauthorized photographs of her honeymoon with husband Kevin Federline last week.

BRITNEY said she deliberately choose a location in Fiji where she would be promised 'absolute privacy and seclusion' but apparently, staff members at the resort the couple was staying at took photographs of them on the beach and sold it to the magazine.

'Us' magazine released a statement saying, 'Britney should start her own magazine if she'd like to dictate her own coverage.'

BRITNEY released a statement saying, 'Unfortunately, staff members took photographs of us, which we allowed them to take once we were assured they were being taken only for private use in a scrap book they gave us as a souvenir.'

A response from 'Us' magazine raised doubts about BRITNEY Spears' position. 'Coming from a celebrity who sold pictures of both her wedding and her stepdaughter, it's unlikely the issue here is privacy.'

The photographs in question show BRITNEY and KEVIN on the beach and eating breakfast at their resort on Fiji.

This is not the first time BRITNEY has had tension with 'Us' magazine. After she and KEVIN married in September, 'Us' claimed the wedding was a hoax, which BRITNEY called 'ludicrous.'

It remains to be seen if BRITNEY and KEVIN will take any legal action against 'Us' but regardless, the photos have already been released.

Britney Spears has said that the veil has been lifted on her honeymoon, and she's not happy.

Photos of BRITNEY and her new husband, Kevin Federline, are on the cover of Us Weekly magazine under the headline: "Britney's Private Album!"

Other pictures of the couple's October honeymoon in the Fiji islands are also displayed on five pages inside the magazine.

Privacy issue

BRITNEY quickly issued a statement condemning the use of the photographs, which show the happy couple relaxing and enjoying breakfast on the beach.

"Kevin and I chose a resort location where we were promised absolute privacy and seclusion," the 23-year-old pop star said.

"Unfortunately, staff members took photographs of us, which we allowed them to take once we were assured they were being taken only for private use in a scrap book they gave us as a souvenir."

Britney Spears' relationship with the tabloids has always been tumultuous, but her beef with one magazine escalated this week when it chose to print photos of her honeymoon with hubby Kevin Federline.

The February 28 issue of Us Weekly will feature photographs taken during BRITNEY Spears' supposedly private October honeymoon at a resort in Fiji.

"I am disturbed by the photos and article that appeared in this week's issue of Us Weekly magazine, which they call my 'private honeymoon album,' " BRITNEY said in a statement released Wednesday.

Nanuya Levu Island (a.k.a. Turtle Island), where the couple vacationed, is known for housing guests in lodges that start at $1,975 per night, for being reachable only by sea plane or boat, and for having an airspace that is a no-fly zone.

BRITNEY said she and KEVIN chose the resort because it promised them "absolute privacy and seclusion." So when staff members took photos for what they said would become a souvenir scrapbook of their trip, the couple posed for the shots.

When they returned from their honeymoon on October 27, BRITNEY released one of the photos on her Web site and posted a letter about wanting to start a family and take a break from her career.

The singer figured the other photographs taken during the trip would be kept private by the resort. Instead, she claims, the staff called a slew of publications, attempting to sell the photographs of the couple kissing, cuddling and drinking. A spokesperson for the resort had no comment.

In her statement, the singer explained that other publications contacted the couple and, when they found out the circumstances under which the snapshots were taken, refused to publish them. "Kevin and I thank those other magazines for respecting our rights of privacy," she said.

Us Weekly, however, sees things from a different angle.

"Coming from a celebrity who sold pictures of both her wedding and her stepdaughter," the publication said in a statement, "it's unlikely the issue here is privacy. Could it be that Britney is seeing red after not seeing the green from these photos? Britney Spears should start a magazine if she'd like to dictate her own coverage."

Coincidentally, in an interview appearing in the March issue of Details, Britney says, "I need to create my own magazine. People are just way too obsessed with celebrity. Look at Us Weekly. I think the same guy who does Rolling Stone [Jann Wenner] does Us Weekly. He's this big old fat man. And he - I don't know - like, all of them get so pumped up about it, and they take everything so seriously."

WITH increasing numbers of people choosing to say it with more than just flowers, a new poll shows that the Lake District is the nation's favourite UK destination for a romantic getaway.

YouGov found that one in four people (24 per cent) think the Lake District is the best place for a romantic break. The Highlands was the second choice, selected by 21 per cent of people, Cornwall was third with 12 per cent and the Cotswolds fourth with eight per cent. The Lake District is the top choice for both men and women.
Chris Collier, the chief executive of Cumbria Tourist Board, said: "Cumbria - the Lake District is the top choice for both men and women when it comes to romantic breaks.

"The inspiring scenery of lakes and mountains and some the country's best hotels and restaurants is a combination that cannot be beaten by any other part of the country. There really is something for everyone here."

The poll also shows that while many women are dreaming of a romantic break with their partner this weekend, many men would prefer a passionate trip away with a glamorous celebrity.

The poll by YouGov for Cumbria Tourist Board reveals that 68 per cent of women would rather take their spouse or partner on a romantic break to the Lake District than a celebrity such as Brad Pitt or David Beckham.

A smaller number of men, 57 per cent, said they would take a spouse or partner on a trip to the Lake District rather than a celebrity.

Men chose Kylie Minogue as their top celebrity companion for a romantic break in the Lakes. Almost one in five men (17 per cent) who chose someone other than their own partner, selected Kylie, 14 per cent chose Jennifer Aniston, 11 per cent Natasha Kaplinski and 10 per cent Britney Spears.

Lorraine Kelly was the choice of five per cent of men who chose a celebrity rather than their own partner.

Raunchy pop star Christina Aguilera is to marry the levelheaded music-business executive who has helped to make her a star.

After months of speculation, Jordan Bratman finally proposed yesterday, getting down on one knee and producing a stunning £60,000 diamond ring.

He made his move by whisking her off to a romantic hideaway near their home in Los Angeles and, after a romantic dinner for two, asked the 24-year-old millionairess to marry him.

A delighted Christina said yes and they immediately began calling friends and family.

The prospect of the Latina singer swapping the leather chaps of her shockingly steamy video Dirrty for a wedding dress is likely to fuel further speculation that she is pregnant.

But last night a friend told The Mail on Sunday: "It's not exactly been a secret that they've wanted to get married but Jordan wanted it to be absolutely perfect.

"He's been quite nervous about it. It's not that there's any danger she would say no, he just didn't want anything to go wrong."

Romantic proposal

Bratman, 27, is a partner in the talent management company of Irving Azoff, a giant in the music industry. His firm negotiates Christina's lucrative recording and movie contracts as well as almost everything else in her professional life.

The friend said that Bratman had planned to propose on her birthday, December 18, but that 'things had got in the way'.

The friend added: "One of the things he wanted to get right was the ring, and that took longer than he thought. But he was planning to propose on Valentine's Day, so maybe he wanted to surprise her."

The ring is believed to have been made by jeweller to the stars Stephen Webster. The British designer also created rings for Madonna and Guy Ritchie. Christina is a big fan of the goldsmith and owns several of his pieces.

The friend said: "Jordan said the ring was worth every cent. To be honest, it's Christina who has been dictating how things go. I know that he [Webster] is her favourite jeweller and I suspect-she told Jordan she had to get the ring from him."

A spokeswoman at Webster's London office said yesterday: "He never discusses his clients."

Christina, who made £20million last year from recording and adverts for Versace and Skechers, met Jordan nearly two years ago.

She has made no secret of her love for the executive, saying: "I love my guy so much. I'd really like to get married."

She is the latest star from American children's television show The Mickey Mouse Club to marry, after Britney Spears tied the knot with dancer Kevin Federline last year.

NEW YORK - After six months of marriage to the pop star, Kevin Federline is emerging from BRITNEY Spears' shadow. On the March cover of Details magazine, the former backup dancer is for the first time stepping out to reveal something about the man know as Britney Spears' second husband.

To begin with, KEVIN is done with dancing.

"I'll always dance for fun, but for work? I've done it, dude," KEVIN tells Details in an issue to hit newsstands Feb. 22.

Instead, KEVIN Federline's ambitions lie in creating a fashion line with BRITNEY, which he says, could launch sometime this year.

"I'm gonna design the men's and she will design the women's. We're thinking about calling it Pair A Dice - because dice are lucky for us."

Before marrying the 23-year-old BRITNEY last September, KEVIN, 26, had appeared in the movie "You Got Served" and performed as a backup dancer for Justin Timberlake - BRITNEY Spears' former boyfriend.

"Here's a great question for America... How did you score Britney Spears? How did you pull it off as a man?" inquired Access Hollywood's Billy Bush.

"Well, I look at it as she kind of scored me... Nah, I'm joking. I'm joking. I'm joking," replied Kevin Federline.

And with Kevin's answer to Billy's question, finally there was glimpse of the charm Britney fell in love with.

Similar to most newlyweds, Britney and Kevin could hardly keep their hands off each other as Kevin was prepped and primped for his highly coveted first photo shoot, landed only by Details.

But Billy wanted to get to the answers to the questions that most of America wants to know.

"People want to know what you're about. How would you describe yourself?" asked Billy.

"I'm me. I'm easy, laid-back, nice," answered Kevin.

And before Kevin could finish his answer his proud wife Britney yelled from the background, "And sexy!"

When asked about when he feels most sexy, Kevin joked to Billy: "I feel sexy right now."

But with all the kidding aside, the interview turned to the more serious note of how Kevin feels about the scrutiny their union is under.

"Is it fair to say you're misunderstood as a guy?" asked Billy.

"Yes, misunderstood as they portray me in the tabloids," answered Kevin.

When asked how he thought they portrayed him, Kevin said: "Oh you know, there's been a series of different things - cheater among other things."

One reason the tabloids "teed off" was because KEVIN Federline's relationship with Britney began while Kevin's ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson was pregnant with their second child.

"Do you ever get mad?" inquired Billy.

"We'll you'd have to piss me off to see -- it takes a lot. Usually I lose my temper over other people. You know I get very protective of her... But over me, nah I can deal with it," said Kevin.

As for the toll the media spotlight has taken on his new wife, Kevin offered his perspective.

"You know when I first met her, she was this princess, you know, this American dream... But I wonder has she been beaten down. Has she lost some of that happiness? Do you know what I mean," he said.

Pharrell Williams has fueled speculation he's rekindled his on-off romance with Jade Jagger -- by checking into a London hotel with her on Tuesday night.

Nick Lachey has hit back at accusations he's been cheating on his wife Jessica Simpson.

This week reports emerged the heartthrob ordered his bodyguard to talk to a mystery blonde on his behalf after she caught his attention at the ESPN Magazine's post-Super Bowl party on Sunday in Florida.

The pop babe claims her relationship with former dancer, Kevin Federline, is stronger than ever and vowed that the couple would never split.

Earlier this week it was claimed that the 'Toxic' singer had been rowing with her new husband over money after she was left to pick his $5,400 bill for a weekend spent partying with pals in Las Vegas last month.

But 26-year-old Kevin, who has two children from a previous relationship, also denied that there were problems in the marriage and insisted that he is still smitten with his new wife.

The couple insist they will be together forever - and are even planning to launch a clothing line later this year.

Was it real? Was it fake? That was the question fans were asking after Britney Spears held her so-called "wedding."

We at Juicee News now ask ourselves the same questions about photos which can be
viewed on the weblog "Peak Hours."

Hillman Pierce, owner of Peak Hours said that the photos, "...were e-mailed to me by a friend, where he got them I couldn't tell." Hillman also noted that there were more photos he chose not to post.

Our graphic designers have looked these photos up and down, coming to the conclusion that, yes... they are probably authentic.

In what appear to be professional photos, Britney and new hubby Keven Federline pose at before, during, and after their wedding with friends and family. Peak Hours posted a total of eight photographs. (UPDATE: All photos have now been posted)

The photos are released amongst rumors that Britney and Kevin are splitting up. However, in an article released February 10 on Scotsman.com, the two claimed that they would be 'together forever.'

Britney's publicist could not be reached for comment. However, I expect that 'Peak Hours" will be hearing from Britney's people in the very near future.

The pop pin-up and her husband are coming up with their own brand of clothes for men and women.

The news will horrify critics who have constantly viewed their outfits as a disaster.

Since the pair wed last September, Britney, 23, has been frequently snapped looking a mess in baggy tracksuit bottoms, ripped T-shirts and odd clobber.

Kevin, 27, was slated for repeatedly wearing a vest and jeans that hang round his bum.

After convincing America that Nick Lachey and Jessica Simpson's marriage was in trouble--and subsequently convincing Nick and Jessica too--the tabloids have decided to move on to bigger and better things; namely, Britney Spears and husband Kevin Federline.

According to the new issue of In Touch Weekly, "Kevin has suddenly started partying like a single guy." He's supposedly been hanging out with his old posse of pals and flying to Las Vegas for weekends of drinking, gambling, and lap dances at strip clubs. Of course, the only difference between a weekend in Vegas with his friends and a weekend at home with his wife is the gambling--the drinking and lap dances take place either way.

The magazine also reports that Kevin has been going out without wearing his wedding band. Kevin argues that the absence of a ring does not reflect the current state of his marriage, but rather it's a fashion decision because it clashes with his dirty wife beater and oversized jeans.

According to spies the bits-baring warbler has had an almighty bust-up with hubby Kev after she had to foot the bill for a massive Las Vegas binge for him and his muckers.

And now they're not talking.

"Kevin has suddenly started partying like a single guy as well as going out with no wedding band, he's been hanging with his old posse," a gossip-monger for America's In Touch magazine claims.

Meanwhile, the New York Post reveal that Kevin's been gushing about how happy they are on TV show, Access Hollywood.

Britney Spears and Kevin Federline are lovey-dovey - not on the outs, as several publications claimed to The Scoop yesterday, according to some folks at Details magazine. The men's mag is putting the newlywed backup dancer on the cover of its March issue. "I was at the photo shoot with both Britney and Kevin," Details special projects editor Andrea Oliveri told The Scoop. "They were extremely affectionate. Britney was really excited that Kevin was getting his first cover of his own."

Oliveri says that KEVIN was "really into it" and tried on "tons of clothes" for the 10-page spread, which will answer the question: Who really is Kevin Federline? The couple also reveal that they are planning to launch their own clothing line for men and women.

For the most part, Britney just observed, says Oliveri, at one point shooting hoops with her bodyguard. It was, however, her idea for Kevin to hold her Chihuahua Bit Bit in the cover shot. The issue hits stands later this month. "When Britney saw the first Polaroids [which are taken during a shoot to give everyone an idea what the finished photos will look like] there were practically tears in her eyes," she says. "He looked so handsome."

'K-Fed,' all cleaned up and ready

A few years ago, Kevin Federline was delivering pizzas in Fresno, and by his account, was "up to no good." But he cleaned up his act, became a dancer and toured with major pop acts, including Britney Spears. The rest is history.

"I'll tell you one thing, dude - I never thought any of this (stuff) would happen," he says in the March issue of Details magazine, which hits newsstands Feb. 22. The interview Jan. 2 is KEVIN Federline's first extensive sit-down since he married BRITNEY, 23, on Sept. 18.

KEVIN, 26, is making the media rounds to show he's more than just "Mr. Spears." He appears in the Friday issue of People magazine. Access Hollywood interviewed him for a two-part segment airing tonight and Tuesday.

"Prior to meeting him in person, you do have this impression of - for lack of a better expression - a white trash guy," says Details editor Dan Peres, who conducted the interview. "That couldn't be further from the truth. He's a smart man. He is a very good-looking man. He has developed a very healthy attitude and approach toward life."

KEVIN owes his image in large part to his scruffy attire of baggy jeans, T-shirts, trucker caps and unlaced sneakers. Details cleaned him up, dressing him in Armani, Sean John and Ralph Lauren.

One thing the magazine couldn't change was his speech, which is sprinkled with profanity. But K-Fed, as he is known, opens up about his life, fatherhood (he has two children with ex-girlfriend Shar Jackson) and being with Britney:

•On their quick courtship: "Our parents were telling us to take our time. But I mean, it's like, we knew. And how often do people listen to their parents anyway?"

•On BRITNEY: "I could go on forever about my love for this girl. ... She's (expletive) proud of me. I could be sitting at home doing nothing. I could be playing (expletive) video games. She's more proud of me than anyone has ever, ever, ever been in my lifetime."

•On fashion: "We're starting a clothing line. We're going to hopefully launch that by the end of summer or Christmas time of next year, or this year. I'm gonna design the men's and she'll design the women's. We're thinking about calling it Pair of Dice." (Britney and Kevin have matching dice tattoos.)

•On future projects: He might try acting. But his dancing career is over. "I'll always dance for fun, but for work? I've done it, dude."

• On media interest: "Sure, I read it, you know. I see it on TV. I just laugh about it. The press should be paying attention to (stuff) other than what's going on with my wife and me."

BRITNEY, who arrives 15 minutes into the interview, says the public is obsessed with celebrities because people want to avoid hard topics like "war and death."

"People want to live in a fantasy," BRITNEY says. "So Kevin and I, or any other celebrities, are a distraction."

The couple didn't talk about baby plans. But BRITNEY says that when she does have kids, she'd like to follow in the footsteps of Celine Dion and have her own Las Vegas show.

As for their marriage, BRITNEY has no doubts: "We're going to be together forever. We know that, and that's the only thing that matters."

Expert says true teen love is rare, but possible

Each night I ask the stars up above, why must I be a teenager in love? Dion & The Belmonts were crooning out teenage love songs way back in the 1950s.

And many of our grandparents and even parents were probably high school sweethearts before they tied the knot ... so why is it so hard for them to acknowledge that their kids are just as capable of being struck by Cupid's arrow?

Gregory Fouts, child psychologist at the University of Calgary, says although it's rare for teens to experience mature love, it is possible.

"As adolescents get older, they can feel very strong emotions, and even though their parents may not like this, or feel comfortable with it, it is a kind of love," says Fouts.

"Mature love means not trying to impress each other, and being comfortable enough with a person to be able to reveal your vulnerabilities," says Fouts. "During adolescence a lot of relationships are based around image because you're still trying to figure out who you are yourself."

Kathleen Chabot, 16, says she thinks the fact that 30 or 40 years ago, people often married their high school boyfriends and girlfriends makes a good argument that teenage love is possible.

"I do believe teens can fall in love," says Chabot.

"It may not be the serious 'I want to marry you' kind of love that adults have, but it doesn't make it any less important or legitimate."

Chabot says she thinks the love one experiences in their late teens is different from the kind of love someone would experience in their late 20s, but that it's still possible to fall in love before reaching adulthood.

Fouts says it's important to remember however, that there are many different kinds of love. Although teens as young as 15 and 16 years old may believe they are in love, they could just be experiencing strong feelings out of a desire to be in love.

"It's part of our culture, the concept that you have to be in love," says Fouts, noting this Valentine's Day image constantly surrounds us. "You see it in television and the movies all of the time."

Television, movies and of course, music ... while our grandparents may have swooned to the sounds of Elvis or Bobby Darin, the teens of today might be caught making out to love songs from the likes of teen pop stars Avril Lavigne or Ashley Simpson.

And let's not forget that the biggest teen pop star around is already working on her second marriage. Britney Spears just wed again for the second time at the tender age of 22.

But just because the teen stars are all apparently falling into young love doesn't mean regular teens are taking the plunge.

Miranda Desrochers, 13, says she thinks young people often get confused between the concept of liking someone vs. loving that person.

"I think real love is hard to find even among adults, so I think that teenagers are hardly ever actually in love, no matter how many times they tell the other person they are," says Desrochers.

"Teenagers may think they are in love, but when the relationship ends, the next day they've moved on and fallen 'in love' with someone else."

Fouts says mature love is more likely to occur when people are in their 20s because they have a better sense of who they are as a person and therefore can accept the other person for who they are.

The metrosexual makeover included a stylish new wardrobe including some sophisticated suits and we're hoping a shave. The upcoming issue also promises an in-depth interview and full-out photo spread.

Britney was reportedly at the shoot with her baby Chihuahua Bit-Bit keeping an eye on her man. I don't think she has anything to worry about - even after the makeover.

What's more, there's word that Britney is re-thinking her stated eagerness to have children as soon as possible. Apparently, she's more devoted to her pampered pooches than her hubby is.

"It has occurred to Britney that Kevin isn't a great help in cleaning up after the dogs," a source told Life & Style Weekly. "And he might not be too eager to be on midnight diaper patrol either."

The mag also reports that BRITNEY spends so much time with her dogs - who sleep in their own nursery with sheets from Shabby Chic - that fitting children into her schedule doesn't seem possible. "The other night Britney was leaving with Kevin for a romantic meal, but Bit Bit [her Chihuahua] whined and whined and refused to be left," the insider told the mag. Fire up the engine and get ready for another run around the block, because the gossip mags have elected a new golden couple.

The irrepressibly blonde Bec Cartwright and Lleyton Hewitt have this week's rags in a lather, and the results aren't pretty.

There they are on front covers as far as the eye can see - fondling each other, mouthing inanities and showing off the gall-stone-sized sparkler Lleyton has installed on Bec's finger.

It was a whirlwind romance, they are so in love, they want to set up orphanages together. Gag, gag, gag. Lleyton is even threatening to do a guest spot on his fiancee's show, Home and Away.

To be sure, Lleyton would fit right in down at the Summer Bay Diner, with his surfie looks and his laddish ways. Perhaps Alf could take him on as a kitchenhand.

Woman's Day is the only mag decent enough to forecast doom for the couple - pointing out they have only known each other for five minutes and they are both on the rebound from long-term relationships.

Meanwhile, Brad and Jen refuse to play ball. The goss mags are bewildered by their version of "splitting up" - there is no archetypal dumper/dumpee, both parties still seem to like each other, and they keep being seen together.

NW alleges Brad and Jen were spotted canoodling over dinner in Los Angeles, and the mag even reports they are still living together.

In keeping with the grand journalistic tradition of quoting people's grandmas, NW appeals in desperation to Brad's nan, who says they'll be back together lickety-split.

Thankfully, there is some satisfying news of erratic celebrity behaviour - some salt to counter the saccharine. Who magazine reports that Lara Flynn-Boyle - she of the lollypop figure - behaved in a bizarre manner on a recent flight to London.

The Boylester repeatedly flashed the crew and tried to climb into bed with fellow passengers. Ah, the luxuries of first class. Sky beds, endless booze and harassment from high-profile stick figures.

On the Britney Beat, latest news is hubby Kevin Federline got lap-danced during a big night out in Las Vegas. But Britney's down with that - "Big deal, it's a guy thing", her rep said.

Kev's mates were no doubt thrilled when Britney made a surprise visit to Vegas during the boozy lads' weekend. "Britney loves that man so much she took a commercial flight to be with him", NW reports. Move over, Helen of Troy, there's a new romantic in town.

In shock news, NW reports Delta Goodrem was booed by crowds when she appeared on stage in Dublin with her new squeeze, Brian McFadden. Delta is being painted as a scarlet woman by the cruel British press, and Brian's dumped wife as some sort of saint. Imagine!

NW doesn't come right and say it, but lovers of goss mags everywhere know: such an attack on a national icon should not be tolerated. Diplomatic relations with Ireland should be severed immediately. The world needs to learn: you do not mess with our Delta.

It was a star-studded affair with a guest list that read like a film roster. Samuel Jackson, Natalie Cole, Chris Rock and Kim Cattrall. But what made the wedding so great wasn't solely the guests. Goodman said it was crisp and elegant with 1,000 white roses, magnolias and lilies.

Jones also had a 27-foot-long crystal studded veil that took 10 people 100 hours to create. "It was a grand statement for a grand affair," Goodman said.

Britney Spears had a shabby but chic look to her wedding. It was held in a tent beautifully decorated to maintain simple elegance. She also served pink champagne to her guests.

BRITNEY had a Cathedral-length veil to her strapless dress. "We definitely see a sophisticated side to Britney," Goodman said.

It was BRITNEY Spears' prerogative to change into a mini lace dress during her reception.

Nas and Kelis also had an elegant wedding ceremony attended by many hip-hop artists. Goodman said some of the guests even provided impromptu performances during the reception.

Former "Moesha" star Shar Jackson - whose longtime boyfriend, Kevin Federline, left her and their two children to marry Britney Spears - is sick and tired of living in the pop tart's reflected glare.

"I was my own person before the whole Britney thing," Jackson told me yesterday. "I was an actress and a celebrity before the whole Britney thing. And if this has been the focus, that's pretty upsetting."

Jackson said she was more concerned about the sudden death last week of her "Moesha" co-star Lamont Bentley, 31, killed in a car accident on the San Diego Freeway.

The 28-year-old Jackson's outburst came in response to my questions concerning whether KEVIN, 26 - BRITNEY Spears' second husband - has been living up to his responsibilities as a father.

I'm told that Jackson has been complaining privately in recent days that KEVIN hasn't been contributing financially to the upkeep of his 2-year-old daughter, Kori, and 5-month-old son, Kaleb.

Yesterday, Jackson, who also has two children by other men, denied she's been complaining. And a PR rep for BRITNEY and her hubby told me: "Kevin loves those kids, as does Britney. He and Britney take turns baby-sitting, not only the two kids by Kevin, but for all four of Shar's kids. Kevin contributes, as he should."

But a knowledgeable source insisted: "Shar thinks he's not taking care of his responsibilities. She doesn't want anything for herself, just what her kids are entitled to - especially if he's making all that money being Britney's husband. ... Brit gave him all of the money from the wedding pictures she sold - $2.5 million. Shar thinks the kids should have a trust fund."

Looks as if Christina Aguilera is not going to let her once fast friend and now arch-nemesis Britney Spears get a leg up when it comes to wedded bliss. The body-pierced would-be wild child may be walking down the aisle in the near future.

According to The New York Post, the singer's boyfriend, Jordan Bratman, 25, has been spotted inquiring about wedding rings. Since seeing him, C.A. has ditched 10 of her 11 body piercings and is sporting clothing worthy of a screen starlet. Her reps deny an engagement.

Monique Lhuillier's A-list clients have made her young Hollywood's hottest designer-just ask Britney.

Jan. 31 issue - When Monique Lhuillier peeks from behind a rack of her lavish wedding gowns, you could easily mistake her for one of her A-list clients. Personal chic is just one asset that has made Lhuillier (pronounced Loo-lee-ay) the designer for trendy young celebs like Sarah Jessica Parker, Angelina Jolie or Jennifer Connelly, whether they're walking down the aisle or the red carpet. As this year's award season opens with the Golden Globes, Lhuillier's signature look-figure-hugging sleek, often with a jeweled halter top-is the one to watch for. "She has a very hip sense of style," says Jessica Simpson, another repeat customer. "It's sexy and sophisticated at the same time. That's what any girl wants to look like when she steps out of the house."

Although Lhuillier's wedding gowns and eveningwear have been a fashion force for the last few years, 2004 was her big breakthrough. At the Emmys, Jamie-Lynn DiScala dazzled in a teal satin Lhuillier halter gown that landed the "Sopranos" star on just about everyone's best-dressed list. Lhuillier also put "The West Wing's" Allison Janney in the standout green chiffon dress she wore as she happily clutched her Emmy. But the high point, Lhuillier says, was adding Britney Spears to her client list when she created the showstopping gown the pop star wore for her September wed-ding to Kevin Federline. "Britney was icing on the cake," says Lhuillier. "Everybody is intrigued by her and everything she does. We became part of that, and I can't say I mind."

It turned out to be a tough assignment. BRITNEY, trying to avoid paparazzi, didn't want to come to the store when she first called in June, so the designer went to her house, where, Lhuillier recalls, "she was so sweet and absolutely excited about trying dresses just like any other bride." But on Sept. 17 BRITNEY called back to say the date had been pushed up four weeks-which meant everything had to be ready the next day. With her staff on red alert, Lhuillier managed to finish the strapless silk gown (complete with a cathedral-length train) in just 24 hours. She also created a postceremony lace minidress and five burgundy crepe bridesmaid dresses, plus gowns for BRITNEY Spears's mother and KEVIN Federline's mother and stepmother. "The dresses were a dream," BRITNEY says. "It was all exactly as I wanted."

Beautiful dresses have been on Lhuillier's brain since her childhood in the Philippine city of Cebu. Her father was a wealthy French jeweler and former diplomat; her Filipino mother was a model. Lhuillier, now 32, grew up watching magical parties in the lavish family home. "People were dressed to kill," she recalls. "It was dreamy, and I knew I wanted to be part of creating that somehow when I got older." Her parents sent her to a Swiss boarding school. From there, she went on to the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles because her parents thought New York (the obvious destination for a future fashionista) wasn't safe. In L.A. she met business student Tom Bugee, who had a background in retail finance. They married in 1996 and, with $20,000 in seed money from Lhuillier's parents, started their own company. After building a couture clientele in top stores like Saks and Neiman Marcus, they launched a ready-to-wear line just three years ago that accounted for 60 percent of the company's $15 million in sales last year. Up next: handbag and shoe lines. The price of all this glamour is high, as much as $10,000 for a top-of-the-line wedding gown. But her clients clearly think it's worth it. Lhuillier's goal is to "give them what they need for the events in their lives. There's no better feeling." Unless, of course, it's actually wearing her creations and watching jaws drop.

SADIE BOMAR insists Timberlake will never stop loving the TOXIC singer, and although she's pleased he's found love with CHARLIE'S ANGELS beauty Diaz, Bomar is desperate for the 'N SYNC hunk to return to BRITNEY.

The 70-year-old was devastated when the pop couple separated in March 2002 and, despite reports BRITNEY cheated on Timberlake, says her family would welcome the blonde beauty back.

She explains, "He was heartbroken when they split and he'll always love her. I didn't think Cameron was interested in getting married any time soon, I guess I was wrong.

"Britney would certainly be welcome back. We still adore her. It's sad. They were so much in love for so long. It seemed awfully sad to see them break up. I thought for a long time there was a chance they could get back on track. But obviously that wasn't to be."

Bliss or miss? The new Mrs. Trump's wedding gown may decide the fate of her marriage

The Donald and Melania - set to tie the knot today - have a 50-50 shot at Happily Ever After.

And it all may hinge on the label in her dress.

An unscientific poll of the famous and their nuptial frocks reveals a common thread: When brides (and to a lesser extent grooms) wear the work of a tried-and-true fashion designer, the marriage lasts. But when they opt for unusual -as Jennifer Aniston did in a Lawrence Steele gown - divorce is the result.

Some may call this Dress for Success theory silly. But Nina Willdorf, author of "Wedding Chic: The Savvy Bride's Guide to Getting More While Spending Less," isn't one of them. She believes the choice of dress "speaks larger volumes to the way you approach the planning process."

"At the end of the day, the wedding is just a union. If it becomes a whole show, that says something about you and your relationship," she said.

The bride who's obsessed with having a unique dress - Julia Roberts donned Commes de Garcon for her wedding to Lyle Lovett, Liza Minnelli wore a Bob Mackie to her David Gest nuptials - is probably also fixated on the other details, Willdorf said, such as serving a unique cut of veal and unusual cocktail choices.

"It's really about her," she said.

On the other hand, those who go with the proven standard - Vera Wang dresses and Hugo Boss tuxedos or suits - find (with a few exceptions) wedded bliss.

Count among them: Kate Hudson, Debra Messing, Victoria "Posh" Spice, Jessica Simpson, Courteney Cox (Valentino), and Mrs. Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren.

Maybe J.Lo, who wore a Vera Wang to wed Marc Anthony, finally got it right - although she wore Valentino to walk down the aisle with Cris Judd.

The only Vera Wang divorcee we could find was Melissa Rivers - but did Vera really have a hand in the design of that horrid Russian-style affair?

Designer Monique Lhullier, whom Britney reportedly wore to marry Kevin Federline, could be another Vera, but it's too early to tell.

But back to Melania, who will actually wear two dresses today. She'll walk down the aisle in an extravagant Christian Dior number she already modeled in Vogue (if The Donald's seen it, that might fate the couple to divorce court). While the Dress for Success theory would suggest Dior bodes a brief marriage, Melania does plan to change into Vera Wang for the reception.

While we can't predict the couple's happiness, we can hope three times is the charm for The Donald. And wouldn't it be great if she - finally! - got him to do something with his hair?

Nas & Kelis To Air Wedding On TV

Now that rap's prodigal son Nas and R&B singer Kelis have officially wed, the couple is unraveling details of the covert wedding ceremony that took place January 8 by appearing on the one-hour ABC special "In Style Celebrity Weddings," to air January 27 at 8 P.M. E.T.

The hip-hop lovebirds will be featured on the celebrity-filled special that highlights the year's most intriguing Hollywood matrimonies, including interviews with famous brides like Britney Spears and Star Jones.

Nas and Kelis tied the knot at a Southern Baptist church in Atlanta following their two-year engagement. Heidi Klum, Maxwell and Ludacris were present as witnesses, according to In Style magazine.

Kelis wore a gown designed by Matthew Williams and Nas sported Yves Saint Laurent.

Wedding planner Diann Valentine arranged a luxurious green and gold reception party at a private Italian-styled villa.

Further specifics about the wedding preparations and ceremony will be revealed on the show.

Britney Spears, Kevin Costner, Star Jones, Tori Spelling, Mira Sorvino, Scott Wolf, and Gena Lee Nolin are all expected to share their wedding tales on the show.

Charla Lawhon and Lisa Rechsteiner of In Style served as executive producers for the special, along with John Watkin and Eamon Harrington of Planet Grande Pictures.

The romance between Nas and Kelis began as serendipity; the couple met at Sean "P. Diddy" Combs' after-party for the MTV Music Video Awards in August 2002 and haven't split since.

After a few months of courtship, Nas proposed to his Harlem songstress on Christmas Eve in front of his father Olu Dara and Kelis' parents at her mother's home.

No reports on the couple's honeymoon plans have yet surfaced.
